“Coach Dax reminded me of my self worth, my value both on and off triathlon and life”

COL RAMIL RANARIO

I’m COL RAMIL RANARIO, an Air Force Veteran. I started with CoachDax in 2022, a couple of years after serving two decades in the Philippine Air Force, Armed Forces of the Philippines. I was bent on enjoying my retirement and traveling to join races, but one thing led to another as I found myself in Las Vegas on a two-month long training camp with him. The camp was designed for me to finish back-to-back IRONMAN races spanning a period of three weeks, a feat only a few dared to challenge the body’s limits.

But the greater takeaway from the camp was not the personal best (to date) or the finisher medals to boast of, rather it was how life-changing endurance sports can be as CoachDax reminded me of my self worth, my value, both on and off triathlon and in life.

Fast forward, with a renewed commitment to pursue excellence in whatever I do, I accepted a job as the Senior Director for Security and Safety in National University Philippines, handling a growing number of campuses nationwide.

Through CoachDax’ guidance, a new lease of work-family-life balance, transformed me to a more goal-driven and competitive athlete aiming to achieve more in life.

Here I am. A Pilot. A Security and Safety Leader. A Multiple IRONMAN Finisher. And a CoachDax Athlete.
